If you do not live in a country of the European Union, you need to make administrative procedures, the expenses of which remain at your expense. Our invitation letter can enable you to prove your participation in Emmaus summer camps and support your visa application.

Confirm registration / Charter

Before completing your registration, you must read the Emmaus’ Solidarity workcamp charter. If you agree with it, you will have to sign to confirm your registration.

Solidarity workcamps represent a good occasion to discover and to contribute to Emmaus’ solidarity actions, during a week or more, with other young people from all over the world.

Emmaus is an association which hosts and helps people with personnal, familial, economic or psychologic difficulties.

By taking part in a Solidarity workcamp, you’ll be welcomed in an Emmaus community and you will share companions’ daily life who live and work in the communities. By being companions, these people become actors of solidarity projects supported by the Emmaus movement.

By giving items a second life , Emmaus gives a second life to people again.

In Emmaus’ communities, the main activity is about collecting, sorting and selling donations.

Volunteers and employees work at companions’ side.

During your workcamp, you will be in immersion in the community and you will fully live the Emmaus Expérience. To know more about Emmaus, we advise you to go on Emmaus Expérience or Emmaus France’s website.

By registering to a Solidarity workcamp, I make sure I will be able to take part in the workcamp I’ve registered for and at the time I registered.

Before my arrival, I contact the personn in charge of Solidarity workcamps in the host structure (of which I’ve received the email adress when my registration has been confirmed) to inform her about my arrival’s details and I commit to answer her emails and inform her in case I’ll have to cancell my stay.

During the Solidarity workcamp, I commit to respect the community’s schedule (work time, meals time…), to work with companions (around 7h a day) to support the main activity of collecting, sorting and selling donations or to take part in other projects. I get involved in the community’s life and help with different tasks.

I commit to respect the community’s rules and to adopt a kindly behaviour towards all the actors of the association (companions, volunteers, employees, clients).
